A Little Talk with Jesus

…His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray…O Lord, You will hear the desire of the meek; You will strengthen their heart, you will incline your ear…Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer…the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words. And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God…our competence comes from God…You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, in order to spend what you get on your pleasures…But you, beloved, build your selves up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love of God; look forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus that leads to eternal life.

Jude 20

Dear Lord, every day I need to have a little talk with you. Let me understand that prayer is likened to having a good talk with my best friend. I can talk to You any place, at any time. I can also ask You anything, knowing that You will answer whatever is best for me. I praise Your Holy name and give You all the honor and glory. O, and Lord, please forgive me of my sins and deliver me from all temptations and all evil. In Jesus; name I pray. Amen
